Tipperary Heritage Tour (€195 per person)
Tipperary is rich in culture and heritage and The Castle’s location makes it the perfect touring base from which to take in the country’s riches. On this package, guests have the services of a knowledgable guide for one full day sightseeing. On their own, they can pack plenty heritage visits in during the day but still only be a quick journey home to their comfortable B&B at The Castle.
Day 1
- Commence your day with Full Irish Breakfast
- Full day guided tour of local heritage sites to include the famous and less well known
- 5th Century Liathmore Abbey
- 17th Century Derrynaflan Abbey
- 15th century Holycross Abbey
- Rock of Cashel (with Cormac’s Chapel)
- Followed by dinner at The Castle
Day 2
- Self guided visit to Roscrea Heritage Centre which includes 13th Century Roscrea Castle and the 18th Century, Queen Anne style Damer House.
- Optional self guided visit to Cahir Castle, one of Ireland’s largest and best preserved castles.
- Overnight at The Castle
Day 3
- Optional visit to Kilkenny Castle – a 12th Century castle set in its own extensive parklands in Ireland’s popular mediaeval city.

Trace Your Roots (€129 per person)
If your ancestors originated in Tipperary, your hosts will be happy to assist you in tracing your roots. The castle is located convenient to county Tipperary’s two designated Irish Family History Foundation Centres in Nenagh and Cashel.
