Hill Walking Get-Away (From €400 per couple)

Inch House offers a wonderful setting for all walking lovers. Our working farm is open to all our guests for a casual day’s walking. Our resident pet dogs Arthur & Tiny will happily accompany you and show you the sights of the farm. Nearby, the official looped walks of Eamon an Cnoic, Knockalough and Birch Hill test all abilities.

Guests will enjoy

• A sumptuous 4 course dinner each evening.
• A hearty Irish Breakfast each morning.
• A light packed lunch each day featuring Inch House’s own produce and the best of fresh local food – homemade brown bread sandwiches, Tipperary Water, fresh farm apples and a delicious Inch House Treat.
• Maps  supplied of the local looped walks.
• Guided walk available with local farmer, Connie Ryan who has a real love for his area and enjoys sharing local stories & history with guests. He is part of a community of farmers that welcome walkers with open arms. Bookable in advance.

Food Lovers Hideaway (From €395 per couple)

Tipperary lies at the heart of the Golden Vale, so called because of its rich pastureland. From this rich natural resource has emerged a number of local food producers who have earned a  reputation for freshness and quality that is the envy of many and a delight for foodlovers. Inch House is one such producer and this Food Lovers Break introduces guests to the best of Tipperary Food.

Guests will enjoy:

• Two or three night breaks with sumptuous 4 course dinner on each evening of your stay
• A hearty and healthy Irish Breakfast each morning using Irish and local produce from Tipperary.
• Our recommendations for a Food Trail taking in some local shops and producers while bringing guests through some of Tipperary’s beautiful countryside and famous sights. Amongst others, we recommend:
  • Peter Ward in Country Choice, Nenagh, Ireland’s best known food business.
  • Holycross Foods where Ann-Marie makes a wide selection of cakes and breads.
  • Crossogue Preserves from Veronica Molloy’s kitchen.

  • The Apple Farm in Cahir where the Traas Family have a range of Juices and Fruits on sale all year round.

To celebrate Tipperary Food Producers, guests will receive a complimentary take home hamper including, for example Inch House Potatoes, Inch House Black Pudding, Dressings and Chutneys from our Kitchen and local Jams and Cheeses.

Inch House was built in 1720 and has a rich history. It was bought by Nora & John Egan and their family in 1985. oday, their daughter Mairin runs the restaurant & guesthouse while Nora concentrates on producing a range of food products on the 250 acre working farm.
