Walking Break (from €45 per person per night)

There are many wonderful, peaceful walks to enjoy and explore from our award winning Sunrise Bed & Breakfast. Stroll through lovely forests, woodlands and the lakeshore full of flora and fauna. Listen to the sounds of the birds while you take in all the wonderful scents of the trees and wild flowers in this peaceful and tranquil location.

For the casual walker, choose walks from 4km to 11km from the Mountshannon Loop Walks, which are all well signposted.

For the more experienced or energetic walker, the East Clare Way covers a 172km circular route through some of the region’s most spectacular and varied scenery.

You can self guide or, if you wish, join our East Clare Walking Club on every second Sunday.

Relax after your day’s walking to rest and freshen up for your evening out. A splendid range of lovely restaurants and keenly priced bar food also available.

Local Taxi service available if required. Sunrise B&B is approximately 45 minutes drive from Shannon International Airport.

Package includes:

B&B, €45p.p. per night based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room with a wide range of breakfast choices and home baking.

• €60 per night for a single room.
• Fresh, packed lunches – to include choice of sandwich, home-baked bread/scones, yogurt, fruit, and drinks.
• Printed Maps and information on our local East Clare Walking Club dates and trails provided by Vera.
• Drying facilities for your wet gear and boots Luggage transfer can be arranged (not included in price).

This friendly home features excellent accommodations including a conservatory dining room and personal attention is assured by Vera and her family who will make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience. Just two minutes walk to Mountshannon village and five minutes walk to the harbor, there are many local activities and attractions to fill your days. Vera happily assists with maps and local information if required.
